Great restaurant. Authentic, yet with modern elegance. Both in the garden and in the dining room with vaulted flair. Excellent meat quality and preparation, and very stable. Everything around it was great: Fresh salads with great dressing, red wine jus and the Pälzer Fridde. The Palatinate classics are also of a high standard. A nice selection of wines, also open. Always my pleasure.

After looking at the menu, my wife and I agreed that we would definitely order the Black Angus US beef tenderloin. As a side dish there were pan-fried vegetables and green pepper sauce and a large (shared) portion of homemade French fries ("Pfälzer Fridde"). And what can I say: the fillet was just perfect - both the meat itself and the preparation. There is no better way to do it! But the vegetables and the fridde were also excellent. For dessert, there was walnut mousse with yoghurt cranberry ice cream and chocolate crisp or curd dumplings with poppy seed melt, port wine pears and Federweißer sorbet. Both creations were unusual and original - in the best sense of the word. The dessert was accompanied by a glass of "TROP" (liqueur wine, "Port" from Winning Art) - also highly recommended. But it only became the perfect evening thanks to the extremely attentive and friendly service. The guest really feels like a king! In any case, we really enjoyed the evening and can only recommend every visitor to Deidesheim to do the same.

Were four days ago to eat there with friends was just great. Great and nice service, food was on point. The request for a special aperitif was gladly implemented with a mix of port wine and plum.

A wonderful restaurant with a nice ambience, very good food and a large selection of good wines. In May there is a variety of very tasty dishes with asparagus. We are always well served there (in every season) and have never been disappointed. We were last there in early October 2020 and it was excellent again. One of the best restaurants ever.

My companion and I were in this restaurant for the first time. We became aware of the very appealing media presence of the winery. The visit was a pleasure from the start. Very appealing ambience, very friendly staff. All Corona rules were complied with, in a very pleasant, unobtrusive way. We felt we were in very good hands. The wine is excellent. The food is a dream. Very good quality of the products, the food perfectly coordinated in terms of taste. For us, the price / performance ratio is absolutely consistent and justified. We were definitely not there for the last time. Thank you very much for the wonderful and tasty stay! (I would very much like to give 5 stars with a big PLUS!)

Very cool restaurant in the Winningen winery. The outside area is great. Nice menu. Where can you still get kidneys today? The wine list speaks for itself.

Nice inner courtyard that could be swept more often. Good food with large portions. The in-house wines are offered at fair prices.

Unfortunately disappointing. We went first to the restaurant and then to the vinotheque. You can sit very nicely in the courtyard when the weather is nice, but the winery is visually impressive. But the quality and taste of the food are not right compared to the price. Unfortunately, the staff was almost unfriendly. We didn't feel welcome. The same goes for the vinotheque, you can try all the wines that are on sale for free. After the second wine, however, we were informed that we did not want to rush, but there were other guests waiting. You may be in your mid-30s with sneakers and jeans not the typical Winning customer, unfortunately we got this impression.

It was my first time at the Leopold. The four of us had reserved a table in the garden for 1300 on a Sunday. Despite a slight delay, the check-in was well organized. The friendliness of the staff, their attentiveness and the sophisticated hygiene concept were first class throughout the entire stay. The wines are some of the best you can drink in the world. The food was characterized by astonishing sophistication and attention to detail. The prices are reasonable. The ambience rounds everything off with a mixture of modernity and history. Full points. Clear recommendation.

Have been to the winery several times at different times. We were always welcomed and served in a very friendly and professional manner with a certain degree of looseness. The ambience, the wines and the food are of a very high standard. Everything upscale in price, but still good value. We will be happy to stop by every now and then.

Very good restaurant in the Winning winery. In addition to their own wines, there is also a large selection of other Palatinate and international wineries. The umbrellas on the beautiful terrace can withstand heavy rain. So you can sit outside even in a light summer thunderstorm.

Today we were with 4 people in the Leopold Restaurant outside in the so-called inner courtyard. The food, as well as the service staff was excellent. But the seating, some without armrests and without cushions, is an impertinence. Let alone the unclean, unkempt courtyard is not worthy of this house. We are of the opinion that something has to be done for guests in this high price range so that one can say that we will be happy to come here again

Were there as a family today. Not eaten so well in a long time! A poem from starter to dessert. The waitresses were also super friendly and recommended suitable wines. The area is beautiful and we sat under a huge plane tree and enjoyed the evening and pampered ourselves with culinary high quality food! A little more expensive but definitely worth every penny!

Lovely anniversary dinner! Attentive service, great vegetarian food ( had to skip non-vegetarian cheese on vegetarian option but it did not reflect in taste), beautiful interior - what a pleasure

Nice food, mouthwatering!!! Price is a bit high but affordable for a good meal. Enjoy the ambience as well. Have some issues with internet though.

Ambience and service are great here, prices are a bit on the high side and food is a mixed bag. I have been to this place many times over the years and the food - although of very good quality - has often been mediocre at best for me or my company. Oh, and forget access to the internet. Unknown here!
